Breakfast is the most important meal as it starts the day be neither putting your body into a fat burning state or fat storing state. So let´s change the Pho chicken or Pho beef to your number 1# breakfast. Just cut out the white noodles in the pho and replace it with a ton of added veggies from the bok choy, bean sprouts, broccoli, green beans, loads of dry spices and zucchini noodles.
Ingredients:
– 2 large chicken breasts / or lean beef
– 10 cups of chicken stock
– 1 large onion
– 3inch knob of ginger
– 1 large onion
-, 2 Star anise
– 4 whole cloves
– 2T fish sauce
– 1 tsp pink salt
– 1/2 tsp. black pepper
– 2 large heads of bok choy
– 4 handful of bean sprouts
– 3 large zucchini ( or broccoli or green beans or bok choy)
– fresh basil
– 1 lime
Just try it out and be creative. Health food is not bland or tasteless… use as much spice as you like 🙂
